As you can see, in their short previous lives, the forums were beginning to take shape and the idea of a body of knowledge was coming into view. I am a firm believer in the fact that the best way to learn anything is in a cohesive and trusting group that shares common knowledge. Going to school is all fine and dandy and spiffy keen, but some of the most valuable knowledge won't be found in schools or universities, in textbooks or assigned labs.
What I hope to create with the forums are islands of community, each focused within one area of interest, hopefully becoming populated by more and more souls who have expertise in the given subject matter, creating a well of experience and understanding.
With that in mind, I will again be looking for moderators for the forums, so that far more knowledgeable souls than I are tending to questions and leading discussions. If you are interested, please leave me mail (please use the 'Contact Us' form in the menu at the left) and tell me more about yourself and how your knowledge will support the forum you are choosing to moderate.
If you see ways that topics can be combined to save on overwhelming new members (haha), do please make the suggestion! It will likely come to be a sizable list before it's done, in any case, just because some subjects definitely stand alone, and I wish to cover a broad base of information and sharing.
The idea is to create a safe harbor in which newly awakening souls may connect with those who have traveled the Path for some time and who may offer some wisdom to those just beginning their journeys, as well as for "initiates" and "adepts" to gather and commune. I feel strongly that this sense of community, this process of lending a "hand up", is the key to transforming our societies and our world. All deep work is done soul-to-soul, one heart at a time ministering to one heart at a time. I think it is vitally important that we each remember our roles in this process, and this is an opportunity to do so.
